Chamarajanagar: Three youths were killed when a speeding car collided head-on with a two-wheeler near Hulasagudde in Hanur taluk of Chamarajanagar this morning.

The deceased have been identified as Muniyappa (35), Mahendra (35) and Suresh (24), all residents of Koppa village under Meenyam Gram Panchayat. They were travelling to Kollegal to collect funds from friends for Ganesha festival celebrations.

According to Police, the car was travelling from Salundi village in Mysuru towards Male Mahadeshwara Hills when it rammed the bike at high speed. The impact was so severe that the car’s front tyre burst.
