Mysuru, Sept. 4 (VNS)- Three personalities from Mysuru are among the 100 persons who will receive the prestigious Kempegowda Award to be given away by Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) in Bengaluru this evening. The awardees include former Canara Bank General Manager and University of Mysore Syndicate Member Dr. S.T. Ramachandra, Master Athlete and Central Excise and Service Tax Superintendent M. Yogendra and Karnataka State Dr. Gangubai Hangal Music and Performing Arts University Registrar Prof. Nagesh V. Bettakote. The award will be presented by Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa at a function to be held at Dr. Rajkumar Glass House, BBMP Head Office, today at 5.30 pm.
