Mysuru: A three-day training workshop on ‘Cause of Death’ organised by the District Department of Statistics commenced at Administrative Training Institute (ATI) here this morning.
About 300 doctors from 8 districts of Mysuru Division have been selected to attend the workshop with about 100 doctors attending daily. The doctors will be briefed by Resource Persons on the importance of the cause of death mentioned in medical certificates which should be explicit with no ambiguity to facilitate compilation of mortality statistics.
