Mysuru: After a gap of eight months, Parampare, a leading cultural organisation of Mysuru, has organised Purandara Darshana, a unique programme presenting the life, philosophy and social reforms of Purandara Dasa on Feb. 1, 2 and 3 at Nadabrahma Hall on JLB Road in city, everyday from 6 pm to 8 pm.
Purandara Dasa has been accepted as Pitamaha of Karnatak music. He is a composer of many kirtanas of bhakti pantha. An effort is made here to explain the sahitya and meaning of his kirtanas.
