Mysuru: Thieves broke into a temple late last night and took away a Hundi where the cash offerings of the devotees were kept. The theft took place at the Kalikamba (Kalamma) temple on the Mysuru-Nanjangud Highway.
According to the temple authorities, thieves used gas cutters to open the front railings of the temple and entered the main courtyard where a big Hundi was kept. The thieves used the gas cutter here too to lift the Hundi.
