Mysore/Mysuru: The fight against wildlife crime got a further boost with two young wildlife sniffer dogs, also known as ‘super sniffers’ joining the Bandipur Tiger Reserve and Sri Biligiri Ranganathaswamy Tiger Reserve, both in Chamarajanagar district after completing a seven-month-long training course.
The dogs are Margi, a Mudhol Hound, that has landed at Bandipur after its rigorous training at the Dog Training Centre in the premises of Police Training School at Adugodi in Bengaluru and Jhansi, a German Shepherd, has been trained at Chandigarh by the Indo-Tibetan Border Police.
