The Mysore Derby-2018, biggest event of Mysore Races, will be held at Mysore Race Club (MRC) Limited tomorrow (Oct.21). Classic Races was introduced in MRC Limited in 1974. This will be the 44th running of The Mysore Derby. There are seven runners in this years Derby carrying a total purse of Rs.83 lakh. The winner is slated to receive a prize money of Rs.47,31,000. The added attraction is carry forward of Rs.10 lakh added to combined Jackpot pool which will be a bonanza for the race goers. In addition, one KWID car and three Bajaj Motorcycles and 10 Titan Wrist watches will be given to the winners of the punters skill. Each race goers will be given a contest form and is eligible to win a prize. A race goer has to nominate the winner of 5th, 6th and 7th race.
