Mysuru: Mysore Open Forum has organised a talk on “Electoral Reforms - For Effective Democracy and Good Governance” by Prof. Trilochan Sastry, Professor at IIM, Bengaluru and Founder- Chairman, Association for Democratic Reform, at 6 pm on Saturday (Nov. 23) at Kalpa Kshetra auditorium, 581/1, Vijayanagar 4th Stage, 1st Phase, Mysuru (Mob:94498-19536). The talk is open to all.
The subject of Electoral Reforms has been in discussion and debate for quite a while. These have been led largely by the Courts, the Election Commission and Citizen Groups. These include transparency on candidate background information, use of money in elections and political party finances.
