Mysore/Mysuru: Mysore Open Forum has organised a talk on ‘Advanced Physics for all’ by Prof. N.D. Hari Dass, Senior Professor (retd.) of Physics, Institute of Mathematical Sciences, Chennai, at 10.30 am on Dec. 3 at KalpaKshetra Auditorium, #581/1, Vijayanagar 4th Stage, 1st Phase, Mysuru.
Prof. N.D. Hari Dass obtained both his B.Sc (Hons.) and M.Sc (Physics) degrees from Delhi University and his Ph.D in Theoretical Physics from the University of California. He has worked at University of California at Los Angeles, Max Planck Institute for Physics at Munich, Niels Bohr Institute at Copenhagen, Raman Research Institute at Bengaluru and National Institute for High Energy Physics in Amsterdam before joining the Institute of Mathematical Sciences in Chennai. He retired from there as a Senior Professor and became the DAE Raja Ramanna Professor at IISc., Bengaluru. He is a fellow of the National Academy of Sciences, Allahabad. His current research interests are in high energy physics, astrophysics and foundations of quantum mechanics.
