Mysore District Parents Association for Empowering Developmentally Disabled (MDPAEDD) has organised a talk by Dr. Naveen Nagarajan, a Neuroscientist based in Utah, USA, at Namana Kalamantapa in Krishnamurthypuram on Oct. 18 from 7 pm to 8 pm. Father of an Autistic individual, Dr. Naveen says that the incidence of autism is very high in India and therefore has taken up a mission to train neurotypical teachers, other professionals and parents. He hopes to pass on his experience and knowledge derived from his research work on Autistic individuals in the US.
