Golf is a club-and-ball sport in which players use various clubs to hit balls into a series of holes on a course in as few strokes as possible. Golf, unlike most ball games, cannot and does not utilise a standardised playing area, and coping with the varied terrains encountered on different courses is a key part of the game.
Mysuru lad M.S. Yashas Chandra, a professional golfer from JWGC, Mysuru, who took part in the PGTI Bengal Open Golf Tournament 2018 at Tollygunge Club Golf Course, Kolkata, from Mar.12 to 15, performed well and finished tied seventh with a four-day aggregate score of 14-under-266 (67+68+63+68). His excellent performance helped him to finish among the top ten players in the Tournament. He is our 'Star This Week.'
