Cricket has been one of the very popular games in our country and many youngsters have taken up cricket as their career. Mysuru also has its share of producing talented cricketers who have gone on to represent the State and the country. Mysuru’s Madan Mohan is one such cricketer, who recently represented University of Mysore (UoM) in the All India Rohinton Baria Trophy Inter-University Cricket Tournament 2018-19 and captained the side to enable his team to emerge as the runners-up in the Championship. He performed well with the bat and the ball throughout the tournament. He has been selected to represent the South Zone Vizzy Trophy Tournament as vice-captain of the side in the Tournament to be played at Gwalior from Mar.17 to 23. He is our 'Star This Week.'
Madan Mohan, an all-rounder, who bats in the middle-order and bowls his wily off-spinners is an asset to any side. He impressed with his consistent performance in the South Zone Tournament and also in the All-India Tournament.
