Mysore/Mysuru: Rural Development and Self Employment Training Institute (RUDSETI) in association with National Rural Livelihood Mission and Mysuru Zilla Panchayat is conducting a 30-day tailoring training programme for women which was inaugurated at RUDSETI premises in Hinakal on Nov. 17.
Speaking after inaugurating the training programme, Mani, proprietor of Sri Devi Ladies Fashions Hootagalli, exhorted women not to limit themselves to household works, use their skills in self employment and try to focus on increasing the income of their family. “Every member of the family should cooperate and support her to become successful. By starting a small tailoring business at home, it is possible to earn enough income to maintain a family,” Mani added.
