Mysuru’s Nandish Hanche to head Kannada Book Authority; Dr. Parvathy Appaiah of Kodagu to take over reigns of Karnataka Kodava Sahitya Academy
Bengaluru: The State Government yesterday appointed Chairmen and Members for 16 Academies and Authorities coming under the Department of Kannada and Culture. Senior Theatre Artiste and Film Director T.S. Nagabharana has been appointed as the Chairman of Kannada Development Authority while Mysuru’s Dr. M.N. Nandish Hanche will take over the reigns of Kannada Book Authority. Meanwhile, Dr. B.V. Vasanthkumar has been appointed as the Chairman of Karnataka Sahitya Academy.
