Bengaluru: Social activist and one of the petitioners in the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) case T.J. Abraham met Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot yesterday and submitted a petition demanding dismissal of the Advocate General (AG) and urging swift action on a petition against Housing Minister B.Z. Zameer Ahmed Khan.
The petition pertains to the lack of action on comments made by Zameer Ahmed regarding a High Court judgement in the MUDA case. Abraham stated, "I have requested a directive to expedite the petition for criminal prosecution sanction against Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan for contempt of Court, which is currently pending before the AG."
