Mysuru: South Western Railway (SWR) has announced the commencement of air-conditioned (AC) service in T.No.16023/24 Mysuru-Yesvantpur-Mysuru Malgudi Superfast Daily Express (via KSR Bengaluru City) with effect from 1.10.2018. The adult fare in AC Chair Car from Mysuru to Bengaluru City/Yesvantpur will be Rs.260. While the concessional fare for Sr. Citizens (male) is Rs.175, it will be Rs.155 for Sr. Citizens (female).
The train from Mysuru departs at 08:25 hrs and reaches KSR Bengaluru City at 10:55 hrs and Yesvantpur at 11:30 hrs. In the return direction, the train departs at 13:15 hrs from Yesvantpur, 13:30 hrs from KSR Bengaluru City and reaches Mysuru at 16:00 hrs.Advanced booking facility is av ailable for these trains, according to a press release from S.G.Yatish, Sr.Divisional Commercial Manager.
