At a time when corruption and crime is rampant, if there is still a certain level of peace maintained intact, then the credit goes entirely to the Police Department which works round the clock, 24/7, 365 days, unmindful of all personal commitments and sacrificing holidays, festivals and vacations, in the most trying of circumstances, come rain or sunshine, often putting personal life at risk.
Yet the most unfortunate fact remains that this selflessness and sacrifice from the Police personnel, especially from the lowest levels such as Constables, goes highly unnoticed and unacknowledged.
