Mysuru: The 24th week ‘Swachha Mysuru - Swastha Jeevana’ programme, which was launched by Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama for 40 weeks to bring public awareness about cleanliness and environmental protection, was held on Sunday in Tilaknagar covering Umar Khayyam Road, Shivajinagar, Badamakan and New Badamakan, Jail Quarters and Pourakarmikara Colony.
Swami Atmajnanandaji, Adhyaksha, Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mysuru and T. Ramu, local Corporator, inaugurated the campaign. Campaign was symbolically started by removing parthenium plants.
