Tumakuru: IPS Officer Pavan Nejjur, who has been suspended as Ballari Superintendent of Police (SP) yesterday, a day after taking charge, has reportedly attempted suicide. However, he is out of danger.
Nejjur, who had moved into his friend’s farm house at Handikunte Agrahara, near Bargur in the district, last night, had allegedly consumed overdose of tablets this morning.
As the incident came to light, Nejjur was rushed to a nearby hospital, it is said.
