Sumithra (90), mother of Ln. K.S. Gururaja and Trustee of Ashakirana Hospital, passed away on Feb. 10 at a private hospital following illness. She leaves behind son Gururaja, daughter-in-law, a daughter, son-in-law, grand children and a host of relatives and friends. She was one of the earliest kidney donors in city who had pledged almost 35 years ago.
Last rites were held on Feb. 11 at Chirashanthidhama in Gokulam.
