The Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports has invited applications from eligible medal-winning sportspersons belonging to SC communities who are willing to start gymnasiums, for availing subsidy.
Sportspersons from SC communities, who have taken part in National and International events and won medals may avail the subsidy under Scheduled Caste Sub-Plan. The subsidy will be given only for sportspersons from Karnataka who have represented the State. They may submit the filled-in forms at the Office of Assistant Director of DYES in Chamundi Vihar Stadium at Nazarbad here before Sept. 6.
