Mysore/Mysuru: The Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports has invited online applications from eligible medal-winner sportspersons belonging to SC/ST communities who are willing to start gymnasiums, for availing subsidy.
Unemployed sportspersons from SC/ST communities, who have taken part in National and International events and won medals, can set up a gym at a cost of Rs. 20 lakh, for which the Department will grant 75 percent subsidy, while the rest 25 percent has to be borne by the establisher.
