Mysuru: Department of Handlooms and Textiles has been distributing 50 percent subsidy for general category candidates and 90 percent subsidy will be given for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes to set up power loom electronic jacquard machine unit. The Department is offering subsidy to promote power loom sector.
Candidates who have obtained loan for installation of this machine can avail the benefit after submitting all the relevant documents to the Department. Subsidy will be released after inspecting the installation of the machine and all the records of their unit.
