Under the Special Tribal Sub-Plan (STP), the Kannada and Culture Department has invited applications from eligible registered organisations and unorganised artistes who are engaged in folklore, yakshagana, painting, sculpting and other creative arts, for availing subsidy for purchase of musical instruments, dresses and other materials required for their profession. The application forms are available at the Kannada and Culture Department office and the filled-in applications must be returned along with all supporting documents before Nov.15.
