The Kannada Pustaka Pradhikara (Kannada Books Authority) has invited applications from writers of Scheduled Caste (SC) community for granting them a subsidy of Rs.35,000 each for publications of their works. The applicants are required to apply along with their Caste Certificate with RD Number and their work which is not less than 200 pages. Writers, who already have published work to their credit, can also apply. The applications must be addressed to the Administrative Officer, Kannada Pustaka Pradhikara, Kannada Bhavan, 1st Floor, JC Road, Bengaluru-560002.
