With an objective of encouraging women farmers to take up dairy farming, the Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services Department has invited applications from eligible women cattle owners for availing 6 percent subsidy on timely repayment of Bank loans taken for purchase of cattle. The women farmers can contact the Taluk Veterinary Officer (Administration) or the local Veterinary Doctors.
