The Backward Classes Welfare Department, Hunsur, has invited application from eligible students for admission to pre-metric girls hostel located at Hunsur town, Geresanahalli, Bilikere, Hirikyathanahalli, Tattekere and also for pre-metric boys hostel located at Hanagudu. The annual income limit is Rs. 45,000 for students belonging to category-1, 2(A), 2(B), 3(A) and 3(B), Rs. One lakh for category-1 and Rs. 2 lakh for SC/ST. Selected students will be provided with free boarding and lodging with all necessary facilities. Interested may contact the respective hostel wardens or the Department’s Extension Officer. The applications are available for free of cost. Last date to submit the filled-in applications is June 15. For details, contact Ph: 08222-250044.
