The Nelson Mandela Road in Bannimantap happens to be the busiest road connecting the Millennium Circle (LIC Circle) and Sayyaji Rao Road. Also, many KSRTC and private vehicles speed up and down in the evenings. As this busy stretch is dark without street-lights, pedestrians have to put their lives at risk while crossing the road. It is also risky for two-wheelers to take a turn towards Hanumanthanagar or Bannimantap A Layout.
