Mysuru: The final year students of NIE Institute of Technology (NIE-IT), Koorgalli, have won First Place in recently concluded State-level Engineering Project Exhibition and Competition ‘SRISHTI-2018’ organised by ABVP-Karnataka, in association with Dayananad Sagar College of Engineering.
Their project titled “IOT based monitoring of Reactive Power Flow at 220/66kV receiving station and controlling the operation of capacitor banks in 66/11kV substations” was selected for first place amongst 500 short listed projects across Karnataka.
