Kushalnagar: Bowing to the demand for a separate Cauvery Taluk with headquarters at Kushalnagar, the State Government has issued a notification to form Kushalnagar Taluk.
The notification has been issued yesterday by V.T. Rajashree, Under Secretary to Government, Revenue Department under the powers conferred under Karnataka Land Revenue Act 1964. The notification will be in force for 30 days within which people can file objections, if any. If there are no objections, the notified places will be included in the new taluk.
