In a welcome news for State Government employees, the Government has decided to send SMS message to employees on remittance of their salaries and allowances. The SMS will be sent through a KGID (Karnataka Government Insurance Department) portal, which will be launched by Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai at a programme to take place at Kanteerava Stadium here on May 30, according to Karnataka Government Employees Association.
