Bengaluru: Satisfied with the success of its ambitious ‘Gruha Arogya’ scheme, which was introduced on a pilot basis in Kolar district, the State Government has planned to extend the scheme to the entire State from February this year.
The scheme, which is aimed at conducting health check-up at the doorsteps of the people, was launched at Kolar in October last year, with medical teams comprising doctors, visiting the houses in rural areas on a priority basis and then houses in urban areas, for carrying out a health check of the residents.
