Bengaluru: The Karnataka Government has extended the tenure of DG&IGP Alok Mohan till May 21, announced Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, here yesterday.
Alok Mohan was to retire on Apr. 30 following his superannuation. However, the State Government has extended his tenure till May 21 to comply with the Supreme Court’s directive that allows a mandatory two-year office for State Police Chiefs irrespective of superannuation.
