New Tumkur District Chess Association, Shree Arya Constructions, Bengaluru and Mandya Chess Academy, under the aegis of Karnataka State Chess Association for Visually Challenged (KSCAVC), is organising 3rd Karnataka State Chess Championship for Visually Challenged 2023 from July 13 to 14 at Padukone-Dravid Centre for Sports Excellence, Bengaluru. This event is a part of the selection cycle for the Indian team which will represent India in various international tournaments next year. From this tournament, about 30 players will be selected to the forthcoming AICFB South Zone Chess Championship for Visually Challenged, according to a press release from A.R. Ramesha, Secretary, KSCAVC.
