Bengaluru: The factional fight within the State BJP is showing no sign of scaling down with Leader of the Opposition in the Council K.S. Eshwarappa attending a rebels’ meet at the Palace Grounds this morning.
Addressing the rally, Eshwarappa dared Yeddyurappa to take disciplinary action against him. Accusing the State Chief of branding genuine party workers as rebels and anti-party activists, Eshwarappa said that the party will not survive if the same “dictatorial” attitude towards party workers continued. “I dare Yeddyurappa to take disciplinary action against me and we will show that we too have sacrificed for the party and our contributions matter too,” Eshwarappa roared amidst thunderous applause from the gathering.
