Bengaluru: Academic results took a downward turn this year in Karnataka as the number of students in Karnataka clearing both the II PUC and Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) or Class 10 examinations came down when compared to last year.
Of the 8,56,286 candidates who appeared for the SSLC exams, 5,81,134 passed, recording a pass percentage of 67.87. The results were declared yesterday by Primary and Secondary Education Minister Tanveer Sait.
