Mysuru: Sri Maharshi Valmiki Jayanti-2017 has been organised at Kalamandira in city on Oct. 5 at 12 noon under the aegis of the District Administration, Zilla Panchayat, SC/ST Welfare Department, Mysuru City Corporation (MCC), Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) and Nayaka Community associations/organisation of Mysuru Taluk and City.
District in-Charge Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa will inaugurate the programme. MLA Vasu will preside. Primary and Secondary Education Minister Tanveer Sait, Mayor M.J. Ravikumar, Dy. Chairman of Karnataka Legislative Council Marithibbegowda, ZP President Nayeema Sulthana, MPs Pratap Simha, R. Dhruvanarayan and C.S. Puttaraju will be the chief guests.
