Sri Igguthappa Kodava Assn. get-together

Mysuru:  The 14th annual  get-together  and general body meeting of Sri Igguthappa Kodava Association was held recently at Kodava Samaja premises in Vijayanagar here. Moodera  P. Belliappa, Association President, presided. Muccatira T. Nanaiah, Senior Advocate, Bengaluru, and his wife were the chief guests on the occasion. The day-long programme started with invocation by Udiyanda Yukta Vijaya and Ballanamada Sonam Ajit. Appachettolanda Beena Erappa read out the names of the deceased members of the Association while Nellamakkada B. Kaverappa Vice-President, introduced the chief guest. Diana Ajjikuttira Poovaiah read out the names of top scorers in SSLC and PUC. Scholarships were  given away by the chief guest. Association  Secretary Anjanda Kumari Ganapathy presented audit report for the year 2016-2017. Lauding the Association for its services and getting a CA site from MUDA, Muccatira T. Nanaiah called upon the members to groom Kodava children as better citizens. The event concluded with sports  and lucky-dip. Ammatanda Poovaiah proposed a vote of thanks. Committee members Chottangada Girish Belliappa, Chottekalapanda Prema Uthaiah, Kademada Harish Poovaiah, Porvangada Somanna, Chemira Thammaiah and others were present on the occasion.
