Madikeri: In a surprise development just a few months ahead of the 2018 Assembly polls, the State Government today transferred Kodagu Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dr. Richard Vincent D’Souza and posted him as MD of Hutti Gold Mines. D’Souza is replaced by P.I. Sreevidya, who is currently serving as Deputy Secretary to the Government, Infrastructure Development Department. Sreevidya, who has been appointed as the new DC, had earlier served as Kodagu ZP CEO.
