Mysore/Mysuru: A Spectacled Cobra snake, which had taken shelter inside a burrow between the roots of a tree at the house of one Raghavendra in J.P. Nagar, has been rescued by snake rescuer B. Shivakumar, popularly known as Snake Shivu, yesterday morning.
Speaking to Star of Mysore, Shivakumar said that the Cobra was hiding inside a burrow (usually made by rodents) between the roots of a tree and was rescued in a 45 minutes operation. He further said that the snake was healthy and measured 5.75 ft which was later released into its natural habitat.
