Mysuru: Curtains fell on the South Zone Inter-University Women’s Cricket Tournament - 2025 with University of Madras emerging as champions defeating Bangalore City University by 8 wickets in the finals played at the SDNR Wadiyar Stadium in Manasagangothri here this morning.
Having won the toss and opting to field, University of Madras was successful in restricting Bangalore City University to a paltry score of 104 for 8 in 25 overs. Subhaharini scalped three wickets giving away 8 wickets for University of Madras while Soumya Verma top scored for Bangalore City University with 38 runs.
