Inspiring play by K. Deeksha of Mangalore University who played 9 minutes and also scored 3 points, helped her team to blank Vikram Simhapuri University 18-0 and enter the pre-quarterfinals on the opening day of the South Zone Inter-University Kho-Kho Tournament-2017, conducted by the Department of Physical Education, University of Mysore (UoM), at the UoM Sports Pavilion Grounds in city yesterday. Yogi Vemana University, Kadapa, Krishna University, Machilipatnam and VTU, Belagavi, were the other teams to enter pre-quarterfinals.
