Bedare (54 n.o & 3 for 22) and his unfinished 79-run third-wicket partnership with Vishnu Priyan (32 n.o) helped University of Mysore to register a eight-wicket win over University of Madras, Chennai and enter the pre-quarterfinals in South-zone Inter-University men's cricket tournament, conducted by VTU at the JSS-SJCE grounds here on Thursday.
In fourth round, Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, backed by some good batting performance by Yogesh Rajan 66 (67b, 6x4), registered a five-wicket win over Dr.B.R. Ambedkar University, Srikakulam and entered pre-quarter-finals.
