Song ready to welcome guests

Mysuru: The welcome song for the mega Kannada meet is ready and it has been conceptualised and coordinated by the Publicity Committee. The song begins with lyrics “Swagatha, Suswagatha...Samskruthika Nagari Sammelanakke...” The song has been conceptualised based on the thoughts conveyed by District Kannada Sahitya Parishat President Dr. Y.D. Rajanna, who is also the President of the Publicity Committee. The lyrics have been penned and the music has been composed by Nagesh Kandegala and the names of Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar, Rashtrakavi Kuvempu figure prominently in the song that has been rendered by Nagesh and team.
