Under the SCP/TSP scheme, the Tourism Department will be organising skill development training programme in the Tourism sector for SC and ST community students at Food Craft Institute at Mysuru and at Institute of Hotel Management at Bengaluru, for which it has invited applications from eligible SC/ST candidates. The training programmes are — Food and Beverage Service Steward (3 seats for SC and 2 seats for ST candidates having qualification of a pass in 10th standard), Room Attendant (1 seat each for SC and ST candidates having qualification of a pass in 5th standard), Front Office Associate (1 seat each for SC and ST candidates having qualification of a pass in 12th standard) and Multi Cuisine Cook (5 seats each for SC and ST candidates having a qualification of a pass in 8th standard).
