Bengaluru: Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa conferred Chief Minister’s Medal on 75 Forest officers and staff this morning at Banquet Hall of Vidhana Soudha, Bengaluru, this morning. Forest Minister B.S. Anand Singh and other Department officials were present at the Medal Investiture Ceremony.
From the last three decades, the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests had been urging the Government to bestow the CM’s medal upon Forest Department staff, on the lines of Police Department, for their outstanding contributions in their services as a note of encouragement.
