The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the National Institute of Engineering (NIE), Mysuru, is organising a 6-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP), sponsored by AICTE ATAL from Sept. 2 to 7. The title of the FDP programme is ‘Hands-on Approach for Design and Implementation of Power Converters for Electric Vehicle Application.’ C.S. Raviprasad, Co-founder of Chara Technologies, Bengaluru, will be the chief guest. Dr. S. Kumaravel, Associate Professor, NIT Calicut, Dr. M.S. Ganesh Prasad, Vice-Principal, NIE, Dr. H. Pradeepa, Head, EEE, Dr. S. R. Gurumurthy, Professor, EEE, Dr. V.N. Jayasankar, Coordinator and Dr. Rohit K. Mathew, Co-coordinator, will be present in the inaugural ceremony.
Experts from NITs and industries will handle the sessions on different aspects of Power Converter design in Electric Vehicles. 50 faculty members from different Engineering Colleges in and outside Karnataka will participate.
