Mysuru: The Mysuru City Unit of Karnataka Rajya Vignana Parishat celebrated internationally acclaimed Scientist Sir C.V. Raman’s 131st birth anniversary at St. Anthony High School at Gayathripuram in city recently.
Speaking as the chief guest on the occasion, Parishat Convenor R. Anantaramu said that Sir. C.V. Raman was the first Indian to win the Nobel Prize in Physics and called upon the students to inculcate the great Scientist’s patriotism and self-respect.
