Mysuru: Chief Minister Siddharamaiah yesterday provided financial help by donating Rs. 2 lakh to Brungesh, a student from city, who was severely injured in a train accident in Uttar Pradesh on July 10. Brungesh, a second year B.SC student at Yuvaraja’s College and a resident of Agrahara in city, was on a trip to North India along with his friends. While they were travelling from Mughalsarai to Haridwar, Brungesh fell down from the moving train resulting in severe injuries to his legs and hands. He was immediately rushed to a hospital where the doctors had to amputate his hands and a leg. His friends had launched an online campaign to raise funds for his treatment. Brungesh is also an artiste and a member of Niranthara Foundation.
