Mysuru: The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) officials, who are probing the shoot-out incident, which took place at Hebbal Ring Road junction on May 16 morning, have intensified their investigation. Five CID officials, led by Dy.SP Chandrashekar, who have arrived from Bengaluru have grilled the then Vijayanagar Police Inspector B.G. Kumar who had shot dead Sukwinder Singh from Punjab, an ASI and four other Police staff who were reportedly present during the shoot-out.
The CID sleuths, who visited the spot, have questioned a tender coconut seller and a jelly stone-sand trader and have collected their statements.
